life hint: Mother Theresa once said: We can do no great things, only small things with great love.
2 Corinthians 9:6-11
The more you give the more you get.
"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever."
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."

What was the most unselfish thing you've ever done? Write about one thing you did for someone else with absolutely no thought for yourself.
Wow, this is trickier than I thought :S. I guess there's a few, though it's hard to say any are the most unselfish..sponsoring kids through World Vision for example. Organising the 40 hour famine, or ExoWeek. Or generally being there. When I do something for someone else with absolutely no thought for myself, my thoughts are my concern for them, or a passion to do something for them.
I have to share some of what was in the opening paragraph of my devotion today:
True servanthood is very difficult, yet very important because it's the one unmistakable way people recognize Jesus in us.
May God grant you the gift of being a servant.
May you truly know that it is in giving that we receive.
