Matthew 4:18-20
Even the main guys didn't "get it" sometimes.

"While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came to him wtih an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked. "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor." Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."

In no particular order:

1. He's more than enough for me, all my life.
2. He's loving.
3. HE EXISTS, and created everything :)
4. He takes care of me.
5. God has the power to change people, in a way they can never imagine.
6. He sent Jesus to die for me, not because He had to, but because He wanted to.
7. He knows me. Well.
8. He's all powerful!! Can do anything :)
9. He has a wonderful plan for His children ^^ and is always in control.
10. He forgives.

God may not have always given me everything I want, but I'm sure that God is real because...He's like the wind..I can't physically see Him directly now, but I can see the effects that He's creating. And I think about all those times when I've felt His embrace, or when I get His Spirit and shake, or just burst into tears, or anything like that. Or in times of despair when I've felt completely like crap and then realised that I could just run into His arms and only He can hear me when I cry myself to sleep, and He offers me comfort that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. I know that He's real when He guides me always, telling my soul what to do. I know He's real because I've felt His love, and His amazing power to change people, and His constant refreshing my mind, and being with me, and making me bold, and a million gazillion other things. I know God is real, because He's real and working in my life -- it's undeniable.

May God give you the understanding that you don't need to understand him in order to love him.
